Naturist New Hampshire will hold its May Escape at the Gargoyle House in Wells River VT on Sunday, May 18, beginning at noon. Located just across the Connecticut River from Woodsville NH, the Gargoyle House has a wood-fired sauna and hot tub, walking trails, kitchen, and lounge area. NNH will order pizzas, based on the number of reservations we receive.
The clothing-optional event is open to members and non-members alike, regardless of gender. Guests are encouraged to bring along their own towels and snacks to share. We’ll be able to dine naked anywhere in the house, including the upstairs lounge area, where two fridges allow us to keep drinks cold. The lounge area has games, including Ticket To Ride and Loup Garou, as well as a 4K media center that we may use.
Gargoyle House is located at 3351 Wallace Hill Road in Wells River VT, an hour and a half from Concord NH, and about three hours from Albany NY, Boston MA, or Portland ME. Cautionary note: The lodge has multiple floors, which may pose a challenge for those with mobility issues.
Our April “Desperadoes at the Station” event saw only 10 attendees, but they nevertheless reported having a good time, with Michael A. teaching some dance steps to music he provided to supplement the train songs on our playlist.
Don’t forget to check out the Naturist Marketplace for NNH merchandise and copies of Living Free: Naturism & Our World, as well as a few remaining copies of Living Free’s predecessor, Naturist Life International.
Between the rainy days, we’ve had some beautiful summer-like weather, proving that winter is finally over. We are gearing up for a busy summer.
