The deadline for reservations to Naturist New Hampshire’s “Hummingbirds of May” event is Wednesday, May 8. We need to give the kitchen a meal count at that time.
The event will take place on Sunday, May 12, at the Hummingbird Center in Dorchester (the former "D-Acres”). The center is about 15 miles from Plymouth and Interstate-93. From Plymouth, take Route 25 west to Route 118, then turn onto Hearse House Road, then again onto Streeter Woods Road to reach the destination. Coming from Canaan in the west, turn onto Parker Street/Route 118 to Streeter Woods Road until reaching the destination, also a distance of about 15 miles. There are parking areas on both sides of the road.
The farm is open to the public, but we’ll have access to a second-floor clothing-optional space, an outdoor hot tub where nudity is allowed, and several miles of naked hiking trails, with two ponds. Bring your own towels for sitting (and drying off if you choose to skinny dip).
There will be an optional pasta meal in the dining room to cap off the afternoon. (Clothing is required in this area.) The buffet dinner will include spaghetti with a choice of sauces (bolognese [meat sauce], mushroom marinara, and alfredo), garlic sourdough focaccia, spring salad, Mediterranean chickpea salad, grilled vegetable medley, and assorted cookies and whipped cream.
Afternoon admission to the event, which begins at noon, is $40 for singles and $75 for couples. The all-inclusive price with the optional meal is $75 per person and $140 per couple. There is an NNH member discount, as well as price reductions for those affiliated with other naturist organizations. Tickets and directions are available HERE.
