The bad news for nudists continues with the announcement that Coventry Club & Resort in Milton, Vermont, will be closing and becoming a private property.
The closing follows the loss of other nudist resorts and campgrounds, including Berkshire Vista in Massachusetts, Abbott’s Glen in Vermont, and Juniper Woods in New York.
The Coventry Resort has been on the market for the past few years, without anyone coming forward to purchase it and continue operating it as a nudist community. This past July, owners Bill and Susan Perreault listed the property with a real estate broker.
In a message to the naturist community, they wrote that they were “still hoping to find a buyer willing to operate the business as a nudist campground.”
